Summary:

This position is for an entry level position for someone with a goal of achieving a senior electronics engineer.

Essential Job Functions:

• This position will be learning and supporting senior technicians in C5ISR equipment on Army Vessels
• Will be supporting general labor tasks with the goal of transitioning to a higher level technician
• Performs electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance as part of a routine maintenance program
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent customer service skills/ability to interact with the public
• Must be detailed oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of motivation and great work ethic

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years of technical education or experience in a technical field (preferably electronics)
• Secret Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
