Summary:

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Assistant Integrator will support services* for Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) to execute its mission to analyze, provide recommendations, and develop course(s) of action (COA) to allow the government to integrate Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) and Explosive Hazard (EH) considerations across the Warfighting Functions (WfF) (including protection), supporting the Army of 2035.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review, conduct research, analyze, provide supporting documents, make recommendations, and provide written assessments on C-IED and EH materiel and non-materiel documents such as Joint Urgent Operational Needs Statements (JUONS), Operational Needs Statements (ONS), Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), Concepts of Employment (CONEMP), and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Conduct C-IED and EH Capability Gap Assessments.
  • Conduct C-IED and EH Doctrine Reviews.
  • Make revisions to Training Circular (TC) 3-90.37, Countering Improvised Explosive Devices Training.
  • Provide EOD related C-IED technical analysis, assessments, research, and briefings.
  • Conduct DOTMLPF Analyses.
  • Provide web development support to update, maintain, monitor, and validate C-IED and EH content.
  • Provide an annual assessment of institutional C-IED and EH training and provide recommendations to improve current training, training shortfalls, and training/courses or tasks elimination.
  • Participate in C-IED and EH WGs, focus groups, and related forums.
  • Attend and report on meetings, In-Progress Reviews, Monthly Status Reports, and Final Reports.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledgeable military qualified EOD personnel as Senior Military Analyst/s in order to conduct DOTMLPF assessments, doctrinal reviews, and capability review and analysis. In order to conduct tasks described in this PWS contractor personnel will require access to EOD publications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent time and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The definition for Military EOD qualified personnel is EOD experience and technical expertise gained as a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal School (NAVEODSCOL) – trained EOD operator – this is the only acceptable certification.
  • At four (4) years of related experience
  • EOD experience and technical expertise gained as a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal School (NAVEODSCOL) – trained EOD operator
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
