Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Analyst to support the USSOCOM Enterprise Wide Training and Exercise Program, which provides support through four main lines of effort: Joint Training System implementation, Joint SOF HQ battle staff training, training readiness reporting, and support to Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) exercises. 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the analysis of plans, policies, directives, operations, activities, and actions of SOF as it relates to integration and interoperability with GCCs, TSOCs, JSOC, SOF Component Commands, the Inter Agency, and Partner Nation SOF.
  • The Senior Strategic Analysts support CJCS-directed and GCC-sponsored exercises and events under the Combatant Commanders Exercise Engagement (CE2) and JNTC exercise programs.
  • Will analyze and make recommendations concerning non-governmental and international organizations, academia, and private business as it relates to global special operations.

 

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Expert written and oral communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years’ experience in a SOF operational level HQs
  • 4 years’ experience in joint and SOF doctrine, operations, and planning at the operational-strategic level.
  • 4 years’ experience in analyzing national, joint, and SOF strategies, policies, plans, and directives.
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
