The Administrative Professional shall provide administrative, clerical, and routine office management support through the form of managing correspondence, briefing materials, calendars, personnel accountability, travel, budgeting, office process/procedures, office automation, and knowledge management. This position will support the USSOCOM Enterprise Wide Training and Exercise Program.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the development and configuration management of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external correspondence, including memos, reports, and emails.
  • Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Accurately enter and maintain data in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.



Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in MS Office/Office 365 applications
  • Knowledge of the Joint Training System
  • Knowledge of the USSOCOM requirements generation process (SOFCIDS)
  • Proficient in the following systems: Automated Time, Attendance, and Production System; Defense Travel System; Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System; Defense Ready; SharePoint
  • Expert written and oral communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within SOF or SOF HQ organization
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
