Summary:

We are looking for a SOF Realistic Military Training Specialist to support the USSOCOM Enterprise Wide Training and Exercise Program, which provides support through four main lines of effort: Joint Training System implementation, Joint SOF HQ battle staff training, training readiness reporting, and support to Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) exercises. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Support the coordination and conduct of SOF training off Federal real property.
• Provide liaison support between SOF Component and Subordinate Unified Commands and local civilian authorities, Real Estate Contracting Officers, legal experts, property owners, and select interagency partners.
• Support site surveys to help identify environments that replicate those expected to be encountered in actual operations, which may not be available in the size or desired level of realism on federal property.  Site surveys may be conducted in rural or urban environments in CONUS.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Expert written and oral communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 8 years’ military experience SOF
• 4 years’ experience in SOF tactical and operational level tactics, techniques, and procedures with an emphasis on unconventional warfare (UW), Advanced Force Operations (AFO), Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE), and Force Protection (FP)
• 3 years’ experience planning, coordinating, and executing joint training off Federal real property.
• Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
