Summary:

The Technical Integrator will provide Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS) technical and functional Constructive Simulation and Gaming support to TRADOC Centers of Excellence (COE) and Schools.  This work provides technical and functional end-to-end (simulation to Mission Command Systems (MCS)) training functionality using TRADOC Proponent Office – Constructive (TPO-C) low overhead simulations and TRADOC Proponent Office – Virtual & Gaming (TPO-V&G) games. Simulations and tools such as Army Games for Training (GFT), Virtual Battle Space (VBS), and Division Exercise Training and Review System (DXTRS) are employed to enhance staff training at the lower continuum of training thresholds with the purpose of enhancing Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and staff training in each respective TRADOC Institutions training curriculum.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Tracks the technical resources of the CoE’s and the state of the program’s capacity to use the provided technology.
  • Must understand the current state of fielded sim and games for training at all locations.
  • Track the ability of each site to properly use available equipment, shall monitor the state of any software and hardware issues at all sites.
  • Track the fielding plans for hardware and software for all locations.
  • Focus on the technical operation of the equipment at each site.
  • Focuses on the compliance of all sites with program policies to prevent technical gaps in capacity from arising.
  • Assist in ensuring that the integration of the locations simulations and Games for Training are operating and integrated as required.
  • Provide updated site specific schematics, equipment being used by quantity and part number, fielded date, and SOPs.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of virtual training simulators, and Games for Training.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Have completed a BS or BA degree, subject immaterial; if no degree, three additional years of experience is sufficient in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum eight years’ experience with military training and training support.
  • Have served at a Mission Training Complex as either a Site Manager, Simulation Support Team Lead, MCIS Lead Instructor or Network Engineer/Manager.
  • Requires a Secret clearance.
  • Travel may be required.
