Overview

Goldbelt Nighthawk, SBA Certified Alaska Native Disadvantaged 8(a) Small Business, designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/datacenter operations. Specializing in incident response at the local and enterprise-wide levels as well as forensic analysis, our personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices.


 


Summary:


Program Management Advisor to serve as a focal point and subject matter expert for Army senior-level executive briefing coordination and preparation for IPPS-A Program leadership at the program management office in Crystal City, VA. The work will predominately be on site at the program management office with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week. 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:



  • Directs and coordinates all actions leading to major acquisition reviews and briefings including Milestone Decision briefings, Army Program Budget Briefings, program status briefings, and annual program reviews

  • Provides IPPS-A with development and execution of acquisition and program management strategies, decisions, and supporting documents that adhere to approved program baselines, including support to government program managers

  • Provides analysis and assessments of data, policy, directives, guidance, instructions; as well as acquisition and program management advice and recommendations  Supports preparation of documentation, briefings, white papers, reports, metrics, and correspondence

  • Leads tasks to integrate, synchronize, and monitor execution to program baselines

  • Develops acquisition planning and execution documentation

  • DoD Acquisition expert, thin-skin, excellent communicator and briefer

  • Will be part of the command staff and advisor on acquisition policy and procedures

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:



  • Demonstrated Army Acquisition Experience

  • Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to condense complex information into easily understood briefing materials for senior leaders

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree

  • 10-15 years of overall experience in DoD acquisition and program management

  • DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • SAFe Agilist certification

  • Must have an ACTIVE Secret clearance


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with Army PEO; preferably within Enterprise Information Systems (EIS)

  • DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • SAFe Agilist certification

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree
