Summary:


The Solutions Engineer will work with members of the Innovation Technology Group (ITG) and client-facing teams to design, implement, test, document, and deploy integrated solutions, enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support our ServiceNow implementations. Daily activities will include developing solutions within these platforms, assisting with the integration of other apps/tools, system administration, reporting development, and testing solutions including any additional modules or plug-ins. Goldbelt Apex is seeking Solutions Engineer.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:



  • Support the development and configuration of our solutions in a variety of areas including, but not limited to Service Portal, Change, Problem, Incident, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Release/SDLC, Configuration Management (CMDB), Discovery, Project, Reporting, and SLAs.

  • Identify, create, and execute test cases in ServiceNow as well as other software platforms, including the creation of Automated Test Framework functionality.

  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements.

  • Design and develop / configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologies.

  • Participate in and support version upgrades. Offer technical solutions to address requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, and perform analysis to determine technical courses of action.

  • Lead (and organize) small development and test teams driving the design, creation, testing, and delivery of technical functionality.

  • Create technical architecture, design and user guide documentation.

  • Grow junior talent through mentoring, partnership, and technical reviews.

  • Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products.

  • Maintain current industry certifications, while obtaining additional certifications.

  • Contribute to the development of IT related, technical process reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement.

  • Create estimations on effort required to produce functionality.

  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:



  • Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test, to integration, to production deployment Understanding of IT service management and common service level agreement measurements

  • Experience leading small development and/or test teams Can identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams

  • Can produce accurate estimates and create basic deployment plans for functionality

  • Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment

  • Excellent collaboration skills and can effectively work in a team environment

  • Able to identify and learn new technologies quickly

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience working with ITSM/ITOM/HR/ITBM/SecOps solutions (any or all) in an enterprise environment

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow’s integration, development, implementation and administrative experience including experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, YAML)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certifications: Architect, Implementation Specialist, Application Developer Service Now skills: Integration Hub, Customer Service Module, Custom Tables, Custom Widgets, ITSM/ITOM/HR/ITBM/SecOps solutions (any or all) Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at time of hire.
