Goldbelt Apex, LLC is headquartered in Juneau, Alaska with offices in Herndon, Virginia.

 

Summary:

Goldbelt Apex is hiring a Property Administrator to support the United States Army Medical Research Development Command (MRDC). The Logistics Office provides materiel management services supporting the research, education, and consultation staff engaged in mitigating the medical consequences of exposure to chemical warfare agents and toxins.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify equipment and supply vendors to facilitate the organizations materiel needs.
  • Coordinate with staff to consolidate orders, make substitutions, and distribute/revise material requirements.
  • Provide inventory schedule for semi-annual update and annual inventory and report on all Hand Receipt Holders (HRHs).
  • Ensure discrepancies are resolved and reconciled in a timely manner.
  • Accomplish technical research on all incoming equipment to provide required supply/procurement information, supply codes.
  • Document acquisition information including source, cost, date equipment put into service, warranty information.
  • Manage equipment ensuring transactions are posted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage excess equipment and accomplish documentation and movement of equipment.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in the inventory, storage, distribution, and cataloging of non-expanding and durable equipment.
  • Experienced with providing status of equipment accountability and preparing and/or organizing information for special reports, memorandums, and correspondence.
  • Ability to track tasks/events/issues to include personnel status.
  • Excellent communication, business analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally (internally) or (externally).
  • Proficiency in using the internet.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Minimum one year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Department of the Army and Department of Defense preferred.
  • Strong English language skills (both written and verbal).
  • Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

The salary range for this position is $80,000/yr to $85,000/yr.
