MFLC Adult Counselors provide services to military service members and their families to increase their ability to develop strong relationships, stress management, adequately express and manage their emotions and helps participants learn to anticipate and resolve unique challenges associated with military life. Other issues typically include marital problems, parenting, grief and loss, adjustment issues related to PSC'ing and deployments. These services aid in preventing or reducing the effects of stressors that may detract from military and family readiness.   Additionally, Adult Counselors provide proactive outreach to service members and their families via walk-around counseling.
