AV system engineer personnel assist users by setting up necessary conference room AV systems for briefings, presentations, and conferences and work closely with Video Teleconference (VTC) personnel to establish VTC connectivity and to verify AV equipment is functional.
The total number of supported systems include 29 VTC room systems and 150 desktop VTC units. The total number of VTCs supported in a year is approximately 5,400. The different types of VTCs are IP-based and ISDN-based broken down by UNCLASS, SECRET, COALITION, and JWICS enclaves. HQ USINDOPACOM uses AMX control systems for conference rooms and operational centers. Major end devices the contractor is responsible for are video wall displays (projection and flat screen), audio systems manufactured by ClearOne, Audio/Video Switches manufactured by EXTRON, CISCO VTC codecs and cameras, AMX touch control systems, SmartBoards, BRG clocks, and Alpha signs. The Military and Family Life Counselor (SCHOOL position) will provide face to face, non-medical counseling (NMC) and additional outreach services to students under the age of 18.
